Please accept my appreciation of the exemplary service I received during my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Crystal City.  The quality of service that we received cannot be overstated. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.
 
Your staff went above and beyond to ensure that all attendees of the McCants Family Reunion enjoyed their stay.  Specifically, the following individuals contributed to the success of the reunion: 

            Candy Chen-Catering Sales Manager
            Carlos Alvarado-Banquet Manager
            Mario Jones-Chef (The guests are still raving about the food)
 
In addition, there was a young women that worked closely with Carlos, however, I can't remember her name.  She went above and beyond to ensure that the hospitality room was cleaned daily, and she even worked the family banquet on Saturday night.

Every person we came to meet iwith could not have done more for us. Josh the manager of the desk had our 20 rooms checked in for us in a matter of 2 minues. Everything was ready to go, and the girls at the desk were very pleasant and professional. Our event planner Matt Evans was great. he was a pleasure to deal with, as was Victoria Zavadskaya in setting up our breakfast, as well as placing an American and German Flag in our breakfast meeting.. The hotel was very clean, and the best we have dealt with. We hosted a group of junior firefighters from Germany, and they were our guests while they visited us for 11 days. When we were in Germany in 2008, we were their guests, and they put us up in a Holiday Inn in Hamburg. They as well as us were greatly pleased with our visit to the Holiday Inn National Airport.

Our family reunion was a success, in part because the Holiday Inn staff provided great service.  Your staff provided the kind of exceptional assistance every coordinator and group dreams about.  This was also the opinion of all family members who shared their thoughts with me.

This letter extends sincere appreciation to you, Victoria, Neil, Carlos, and all of the hotel personnel who played a part.  The professionalism (quilt hanging and care), the very good banquet and reception food, and the extra attention to details are all commendable.  You all clearly went beyond to assure the success of every aspect of our event.

Dear Victoria:

Before too much time passed, I wanted to take a moment to extend genuine thanks to you, Mr. Saims, and your associates at the Holiday Inn National Airport for everything that you did to ensure that my organization's annual Spring board meeting was a success.

Understandably, planning for an event like this takes incredible time and attention to the most minute of details.  Such planning, however, is only more complicated when it has to be methodically done so from a remote location.  I'll readily admit that I had reservations about some expectations of pulling the event together so quickly because the distance meant that we could not take a face-to-face meeting to discuss logistics.

But from the outset,  you put me at ease.  You truly scheduled everything superbly for me, my board members and my special guests.  I also appreciated your extra attention to my special requests to ensure that my collegues were not inconvenienced by catering, teleconferencing, and parking needs.  You handled all planning details with the utmost professionalism, and I was even more impressed with the impeccable service afforded to us by the technical and host staff that were present the day of the event to cater to any additional requests. 

Undoubtedly, you and yours are a credit to the hotel and the service industry.  I'll definitely keep your hospitality in mind when considering future meeting locales in the Washington area.  Again, thank you for helping to make our event a success.  It meant a lot!

Our Chapter hosted a meeting of 60 attendees on May 17, 2010 at the Holiday Inn National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.  We received multiple compliments for the nice-sized meeting rooms conveniently located near each other to create a contained area that we could mingle and easily attend other sessions.  Service from the hotel staff ranging from the Banquet Manager, the Event manager, the front desk, and clean up crew were exceptional.  We were treated like royalty and every need was met throughout the day.  Prices are always a concern, and that, too, was handled very well in helping our Chapter officers put on a meaningful event within our nonprofit kind of budget.  The site looks new and all the fixtures, carpeting, hotel rooms, meeting equipment looks new.  A convenient van shuttle was also available to pick up guests and take them to the nearby Reagan national Airport.  A truly great experience to host our meeting at this facility!
